Future Dental is the only practice in North Queensland offering the revolutionary new Glamsmile cosmetic dentistry procedure.

Glamsmile Veneers are an economical alternative to Traditional Porcelain Veneers if you are after a bright, glamorous, youthful appearing smile.  They are made of a thin wafer of custom made porcelain, like a false fingernail which is permanently bonded to the front surface of your teeth.

 Glamsmile veneers are able to correct a wide range of aesthetic problems with your smile.  They can make small or gappy teeth appear larger, they can camouflage discolouration, they are able to correct mild to moderately crowded or misaligned teeth, and they can restore worn teeth back to their original shape and size.

Please note that not everyone is a suitable candidate for Glamsmile Veneers.  In some cases, it may be more appropriate for you to have either Traditional Veneers or Porcelain Crowns, or even orthodontic alignment.  We request that we see you for an extended consultation appointment with one of our dentists in order to determine if Glamsmile Veneers are suitable for you.

Placement of Glamsmile veneers will involve two visits to our practice.  Your first visit will involve preparation of the teeth followed by impressions and photo-taking.  Your second visit will be for insertion of the completed Glamsmile Veneers.  There is usually a 4 week interval between your first and second visits, during which time your Glamsmile Veneers are being custom made in Europe.

In the majority of cases, no anaesthetic is required during preparation of the teeth for, and placement of, Glamsmile Veneers.  Preparation of the teeth for these veneers usually only involves the removal of a very thin layer of enamel, which is the outermost, non-sensitive layer of your tooth.  In a few cases, there may not be any preparation required to the teeth at all.

Glamsmile Veneers typically cost around half of what a Traditional Veneer would cost. Glamsmile Veneers cost from $625 per tooth, depending on how many veneers you have done.  We recommend a minimum of 6 veneers to achieve a beautiful smile.

A consultation with our dentist to determine if you are a suitable Glamsmile candidate costs $75, which will be credited back to you should you decide to go ahead with treatment.  If you are in a private health fund the consultation item number is 014.  Call your health fund to find out what you would be entitled back on the consultation fee. 

During your consultation, we will assess your smile and discuss your cosmetic options.  We will then be able to determine what treatment is needed and give you the relevant item numbers for your rebate if you are in a private Health fund. 

We do offer 12 months interest free finance, upon application.  You can apply for this online yourself, or we could post you an application form.  This finance is offered through GE Care Credit, www.carecredit.com.au
