In dentistry, there are usually a number of different choices for each problem.

Our standard of care is:-

2/  To examine and diagnose as if the treatment was at no cost.

3/  Never to pre-judge your ability either personally or financially to be able to undertake our recommended treatments.

4/ To try to exceed your expectations in all our dealings with you and your family.

what's more, we won't just tell you what you need and the options available. With our high resolution oral video camera you will be able to see exactly what we are talking about in your own mouth. We can also help you to visualize how your teeth may look afterwards.

 

 

Range of services

We're proud to offer you the world's latest techniques in a very hi-tech office.

You can choose from the fullest range of general dental services including preventative care, cosmetic and smile enhancement, tooth whitening, micro-dentistry and air abrasion, metal-free fillings and crowns, sedation options, implants, removable orthodontic appliances, and fresh breath therapy, treatment of snoring and sleep apnoea as well as all the usual services you'd expect in a modern dental office.


We offer only premium health care services, and all our work is carried out to the highest standards under optimum infection control conditions. 

We are not prepared to lower our standards to include cheap or inadequate options. If it is not good enough for our own mouths, or that of our families, then you won't be offered it. This allows us to assure you predictable, long term results.

We believe in doing the job right the first time.

  

  

Financial Considerations

Sometimes quality dental care may be quite a large financial investment in your overall health. Dental problems come at inconvenient times, yet by postponing your necessary care, treatment could end up becoming more complex and expensive. At our practice we realize how unplanned commitments can impact adversely on your family budget.

Once we have completed your detailed oral examination, oral cancer screening and prescribed all necessary radiographs we will consult you on prioritizing your treatment needs and costs associated. When you have decided how you wish to proceed with your care we will offer you three different financial options, from which you can make a choice of the one that best suits your needs.

1. Full pre-payment 7 days in advance, we offer a 5% book keeping courtesy reduction off your treatment fee.

 

2. Outside client treatment funding through GE Care Credit or can be added through an existing GE creditline account. This is up to 12 months interest free which allows you to have your treatment done in full and allows you to pay it off over 3, 6 or 12 months. By paying usual interest costs, it is also possible to spread the cost over 3 years.


3. Retail credit cards like Mastercard, Visa, Diners and American Express, Hicaps, cash or cheque paid at the time of dental treatment. A 3% surcharge applies when using Diners and American Express cards.


We offer our patients the option of having a reminder phone call / SMS the day before your appointment. Any change in your appointed time without adequate notice will directly affect others who require appointments urgently. We commit time to our patients who are in need of urgent care. 

We require at least 2 days notice of your need to reschedule or alter / shorten your appointment. Failure to give adequate notice of your need to reschedule or shorten your visit may incur a fee at a rate of $100 per 30 minute time block or part thereof.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer financial credit ourselves. Our trading terms do not allow for delays in fee settlement, and we respectfully request that payment is provided on the day of service. We reserve the right to charge compound interest at 1.5% per month on any outstanding balance, along with a bookkeeping fee of $15.00 per month. Dishonored cheque bank fees are always passed on to the person responsible for the fees.

 

  

Health Funds

Using the Hi-Caps system, we can automatically process most health fund claims for you on the spot. A swipe of your fund card pays the benefit to us electronically and you will know immediately the balance still payable. As some health funds are not covered under hicaps, you may need to pay the fee in full and claim back from your health fund or any other third party responsible for your own insurance.

You can also find out in advance what your fund will pay for proposed treatment.


We can provide you with the relevant item numbers for treatment required prior to the day of service, allowing you to check with your health fund in advance exactly what will be covered.

In many cases, the cost of treatment will be greater than the benefit your fund will pay. We suggest that it is in your better long term interest to make dental decisions based on what's best for your health, rather than what your health fund will cover.

If you have health insurance, you can be assured we will work closely with you to ensure the fund's payment will be appropriate, correct, and the maximum applicable from your fund for the services performed.

While we endeavour to ensure you receive your correct rebate, we do not deal directly with Private Health Insurance Funds.

Should you have any issues with your private dental insurance company regarding your rebates you should contact your fund directly and if that fails to give you satisfaction, you should contact the PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE OMBUDSMAN on 1800 640695.

  

  

Emergencies

We realise that emergencies occur when you least expect them, and we always endeavour to attend to them on the same day and at the earliest possible time.
